Default 93 Honda Accord revs to 5500 rpms upon startup?

I know it sounds stupid, but had to put it n2 park to stop (@5-6mph) because brakes weren't braking (had just replaced a hose; overheated bout 2min-b4 I shut her down). Have to use key to shift out of park , start it & shoots rite to 5500 rpm (same thing happened when I had to "park stop". It was either that or make a new garage door:} Anyways, any ideas on possible *car* problem. Thx!

Throttle stuck on engine? Gas pedal stuck inside the car? Likely one of those.
