Default 4-to-5 Lug Adapter (Civic)?

Thanx for looking, i hope u can help.

I have a civic '05 and i was planning on getting 22mm spacers to give my (soon-to-be)rims a staggered affect. But the rims i want are 5-lug and civic are 4's. I was planning on getting a 4-5 lug adapter, will it cause any stress to the understructure of my ride? would u recommend it?

thanx again.

Well that is almost a full inch of spacing. Why not just buy the right rims to begin with. Or get an Si cause they are 5 bolt. But the biggest question is what is the point of staggering your rims. Do you race it. I race my Civic professionally and I dont stagger mine. I run a 225/45-15 NT-01 tire, on all 4 corners, No clearance issues, and with almost 4"s of drop fill the wheel wells completely. And if you really want to do it correct, you need to get an actual 4-5 lug set up not adapters it will run you bout $1500 from PasswordJDM, Good adapters alone will run you $100 a pair. The easiest solution is to just buy the correct 4 bolt rims to begin with.
