Default 2001 Honda Civic timing belt?

I have a 2001 honda civic which I had already replaced timing belt and water pump at 100,000km. Few days ago, I took my car to my local dealer for regular service and they "recommended" me to replace the timing belt and water pump again along with clutch fluid, transmission oil, but my car is only 165,000km now. Do I really need to replace the timing belt and water pump again? I am driving under normal conditions. Thank you for your opinions!!

I believe the timing belt on your car is to be replaced every 80,000 miles so if you were maintaining your car properly they are right and the second belt replacement is due. Let it go for another 20,000 miles since it was replaced at 100,000 miles. If the car has an automatic transmission don't forget to have the ATF changed. Don't ever get talked into a tranny "flush" it will only cause trouble.

No - actually your timing belt would normally be due about now (110K miles) so that may be what they are going by. Your next replacement should be at 261,000 km.

Manual transmission oil can be replaced when you have the timing belt done the next time although there is no formal replacement schedule for manuals. If shifting gets balky, you can have the lube replaced (always with genuine Honda MTL). Nobody replaces clutch fluid; it could be done but there is no reason to believe it prolongs clutch cylinder life.
