Default Stock car racing advice

I have a 1998 civic hx..1.6L....I run a 1/3 mile oval asphalt track.....my main concern is getting peak performance at the mid to upper mid range in 3rd gear ( we stay in 3rd gear the whole race)...average speed is 60 to 70 on the straights.....i need to come out of the corners hard and strong and reach top speed quickly.....then decell quickly to get the car into the corner.....I think i got most of the handling issues last year...I am now ready to give it more power....im thinking injectors (how big ).....cam ( what is the lift and duration you would use).....intake mods.....exhaust mods...pistons maybe ( gotta stay under 10 to 1)

one small issue!!!!....not supposed to do any of these things ...but everybody does...so things must be somewhat unnoticable...flat black paint can only hide so much
