Default Do u think i can buy a del Sol S.I. in a couple years for cheap?

I have a 1993 honda civic del Sol S right now. I LOVE IT. my dads making me sell it (im 16) and thats fine because i plan on buying another one when i graduate. The one i have is S and automatic, do u think i will be able to buy a del Sol S.I. in a couple years? do u think they will be rarer to buy? i really want to always have one, these cars are amazing. maybe for the right price ill secure one for sure? what do you think? and also

Do u think its a good idea to engine swap the one ill get and make it all nice and such, like leather seats, rims, lowered, catback exaust with a k20 or h22 engine, new paint job, maybe lambo doors, black headlights, and taillights and neon lights and the works, as a show car?

Del Sols are discontinued, so they will be hard to get your hands on one. I'm not sure on price, but just don't black out your lights, do lambo doors or neon lights! It the motorsport world those things are shunned apon.

Del Sols are rare as is but you should be able to find one in two years time. The condition and price will vary of course.

You should definitely swap out the motor if you get another. With the right engine the Del Sol can be pretty fun to drive. I don't suggest adding neon, lambo doors, or blacked out headlights. If you want a show car with proper sponsorship then you should probably look at a newer car. Any award winning show cars will need to be spotless. Just cleaning up a 10 year old car to show car quality can take a lot of time and money and most companies want to showcase their new products for new cars. It will be hard to find sponsorship [read: cash awards] with an old car with few people still driving them.
