Default Question about my 06 honda civic?

There's a grinding or rubbing together noise when i'm going at a slow speed and break. I just got my oil changed 2 weeks ago and my cars still under warranty so they check all that stuff and said everything was fine, and i also just got 4 new tires put on monday. Could it be something that the tire place did? Or is honda wrong at telling me my breaks are good?? Helpp....thanks!

You need brakes.

It could be that your tires are worn down, or it could simply be that they need to be cleaned.

During normal use, most standard semi-metallic brakes (stock on civics) create brake dust when they are used, when enough of this dust builds up, it starts to cause rubbing, squeaking, or grinding noises. If the brakes are good, and are making noise, try purchasing some brake parts cleaner and spraying down the pads and rotors.
