first take that civic and sell it, then put the whole sum on a front engine rear wheel drive car. put simply, the simple fact of the matter is that under hard acceleration, weight is transferred to the rear wheels of any vehicle and away from the front, so wouldn't you want to use that weight transfer to help with traction? besides, who really likes the sound of a sewing machine on steroids.

Ex? How about you scrap that, and get a 91 civic crx si? Your ex is going to do ten seconds. Once you pick up the 91, you can drop a B18A1 in it, put any reasonable custom turbo on it and put a carbon exaust. Gut your car and fill it with fiberglass so it doesn't rust and looks more clean. Put Recato racing seats, and put aluminum rims on it (17" slicks) and start hitting your gear shifts like a BOSS. You might be able to hit 12's like that. You can't hit 10's in a crx unless your car is built from bottom up. With 20k, I suggest you have plentiful room to pick up a SI. Or atleast get a prelude.
