Default 91'Honda Accord: Extra Spark plug cable?

I have a 91' Honda Accord Lx Sedan 2.2L. I just replaced my plugs and cables and this is my second time doing so. Both times I get custom cables for my specific car and there is always a 5th cables that looks way different than the spark cables. First time I replaced them I just threw it away thinking it was accidentally put in my cable box, but this is the second time so I am thinking it is useful?

If you know what is it for and where does it plug into??

Thanks!

P.S.

I have the chilton guide for my car and I wouldn't even know what to look for with that 5th cable. If you could tell me what its for and what it plugs into I could probably find it in my repair manual.

This may be a dumb question, but when you are replacing the spark plug wires, are you also replacing the wire that goes from the ignition coil to the distributor? Typically for a 4 cylinder engine, spark plug wire packs come with 4 wires for each spark plug to distributor connection, and then one more for the wire connecting the coil to the distributor.

Ok IS it a V-tech?? If so they are giving you plugs for a none v-tech motor. The fifth cord is for the distributor. And none v-tech takes that cord But a V-tech motor does not. Hope this helps.

The fifth wire goes from the Coil to the Distributor. It should be in the same general area as the distributer cap. Just compare wires until you find the one that looks like the one you need to change.
