Go to a part store and ask for an oversize drain plug. Helps to bring in your old one.

You could try some high temp silicone black. Drain oil, clean the threads really well with carbuerator cleaner, wipe dry, and then apply a modest amount of silicone to the plug. Let dry overnight at least.

A couple days would be better. This will allow you to remove the plug at the next oil change, but eventually you will need to make a full repair..

NOTE: there is no substantial pressure in the pan area, so the silicone should work.

Finally, Is the plug stripped or the hole? If the plug, you could re-thread the plug with a threading kit.

Actually, the same holds true for the plug hole..
