High Output Turbo. Your car is much lighter and you can probably make it much faster than a WRX.. all of the other mods (cold air intake, cat-back exhaust, etc.) won't be as noticable of a change before your stage 0 kit.

EDIT: Just another thought, if you do turbocharge your car, please be carful when driving it.. do it in a straight line. Your civic probably will never handle as good as a WRX even if it is faster, so be careful if you do mod it.

Well as mojo said if you dont mind spending 3-4000.00 for the monds and tuning.Go price a turbo and having it installed and tuned to the car runs rite. You cant just throw a turbo on and go driving around, you need tuning done to make it work.

get your bolt-ons and then spend some money getting the engine rebuilt (low compression pistons, upgraded valvetrain, cams, etc) and get the turbo kit, you can either buy one online (avoid ebay) or you can piece one together yourself. If you want to find parts i suggest you go search If your mechanically inclined you can install the turbo kit yourself and then you just have to pay for a tune. DO NOT DRIVE A TURBO'D CAR AROUND UNTUNED also remember you can probably end up going faster then a WRX but they have awd, civics do not

None of these people must have read your post,he said he didn't want to turbo his stock engine.any way what your gonna want to do is "swap" the motor with ether a b18c1 engina and trans out of a gsr integra and you should make right around 170hp or you could go with the b18c5 out of the integra type R(this is the same motor in my 95'civic hatch) and you will make right around 200hp.

then what your gonna want to do is "gut" the car (take out back seats headlinner interior peices this will shed extra weight and with that new motor your power to weight ratio will be higher.

then the most important part of this whole thing learn how to drive it well practice launch technics, practice down shifting, race other cars to perfect what you are trying to do.

I hope this helps you win this race.
