Default how do i restet main light on a honda civic?

im,not sure the year,its between a 04 to a 07 model,,,,thanks

Here's how to reset the maintenance minder display:































1. Turn ignition switch to ON (II) position















2. Press SEL/RESET button until engine oil life is displayed















3. Press SEL/RESET button for about 10 seconds. Engine oil life and maintenance item code(s) will blink.















4. Press SEL/RESET button for more than 5 seconds. The maintenance item code(s) will disappear, and the engine oil life will reset to 100.
