Hi all, i think my heater hose (not sure which one) burst last night.
I could see smoke coming from the rear of the engine next to the fire wall (maybe the coolant hit the exhaust). Anyway car over heated, managed to get it home. Read online that you have to raise the motor in order to get to the hoses back there. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks Steve |

I assume it's a Honda of some sort. What model? What engine? What year? You can ordinarily get at these without engine removal, but it may take some contortionism and component removal on your part. Space is often tight. And it may not be a heater hose, but the temperature control valve, or even one of the tiny hoses used to heat up stuff like the throttle body and IACV. -- Tegger The Unofficial Honda/Acura FAQ www.tegger.com/hondafaq/ |

You should study bus routes if you not willing to care for your car. |
