That's the same thing. <--sarcasm Homicide is merely the act of killing a human. It is not necessarily a crime. Murder is a legal conclusion. It is a certain type of illegal homicide. For example, when a medical examiner determines cause of death, they may determine that it was homicide, which only means that the person was killed by another. That does not necessarily mean that the killing of the person was murder. The person may have been killed during self- defense. The killing may have been an accident. You have may have heard the term "justifiable homicide" before? This simply means that a person was killed (hence homicide) but it is not a crime (e.g. manslaughter or murder) because there was a legal justification for the killing. The word homicide comes from the root "hom," which is derived from homo sapien (or human), and the suffix "cide" refers to the act of killing. Similarly, the term suicide comes from the latin root "sui" which means self, and "cide" which is the act of killing. |

Why don't you go around your house and see how many items say "Made In Japan". Start with your TV. That was many, many years ago (67, to be precise) and the Japanese are now a very close ally. Reminds me of a guy here in town that had a bumper sticker on his Dodge Colt that said, "Remember Pearl Harbor: Boycott Japanese Products!" I wonder if he ever lifted the hood and read the tag that said "Made In Japan". |

That's the same thing. <--sarcasm What's different other than the timeline? Biggest difference I can see is that we "knew" to expect "something" from Al Qaeda. We didn't know that your friends and beneficiaries were going to attack us. The only other difference I can see is that instead of declaring war on our attackers, we bombed the hell out of an easier target that didn't turn out to be so easy, after all. Thanks to that fiasco, you can add another 4200+ to your tally and Al qaeda hardly had to lift a finger. BTW, I'd like to see your evidence that proves that Saudi Arabia " arranged for the death of 3000 Americans". I know that there was talk that there *may have been* "factions" within SA that supported the attack, but as far as I know, no credible entity ever accused SA of being behind it. |
