Default 91 honda making wierd noise

Hi,
My 91 honda just came out of the shop. now when i turn it makes a
slight moaning sound. PS fluid is full. Could it still be the PS
pump? Or might it be something else?
Regards Steve

As I mentioned in alt.autos.honda, one possibility is one or more worn ball
joints.

It was originally in to replace the fuel filter. It ran for about 20
min on the new filter then left me stranded. Towed it back to the
shop. They replaced the rotor and the ignition switch (not sure why
exactly they did this without my approval) ever since then, the noise
and smoke (like oil or some other fluid on the exhaust)

Wow! Makes me think of the parking attendants in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

First thing, take it to a different shop and have it checked out for
sabotage or maybe just ineptitude WRT timing and vacuum hoses that may have
been left off or misconnected.

IIRC, the fuel filter is underneath near the gas tank on the older Hondas.
I think I would try to get a good look under and make sure everything is
back in place where it should be in the vicinity of the rear wheels.
