The vinyl center area of both front seat backs is starting to show quite a
bit of wear at about the lumbar area. It looks as if the finish layer of
the vinyl is peeling/flaking, A quick google doesn't seem to bring up any
mention of problems. Has anyone else here had a problem?

Since it is primarily my wife's car and most of her miles are to and from
work wearing scrubs I can't see any mechanical cause for the wear. We
don't apply any cleaners except saddle soap to the leather part, so
chemical damage seems unlikely. She's put Armorall on it a few times.
