A few (but not all) of the local Honda dealers are currently offfering
an optional lifetime wty on new cars, for about $1200. It covers the drive train only, and there is a $100 deductible for each repair. It is not transferable to another owner if you sell the car, and it is void if you don't stick to the maintenance schedule. Although it allows repairs to be made at a Honda dealer in any city, it requires that you contact the dealer you bought it from first. Do you think it's worth $1200? How much would you pay for such a wty? |

Did you factor in the cost of all those "inspect, check, adjust if necessary" maintenance schedules? I've always wondered---how do you verify, know that all those "inspects and checks" are actually done? MLD |

I would only buy a Honda service agreement. Check prices on the internet.
An 8 year 120k mile agreement zero deductible bumper to bumper transferable is around $1100 on the web. Most dealers will match the price. And if you sell the car you will probably get your money back by being able to offer a warranty with it. <gplantam@gmail.com> wrote in message news:1187607449.500738.67580@r34g2000hsd.googlegro ups.com... >A few (but not all) of the local Honda dealers are currently offfering > an optional lifetime wty on new cars, for about $1200.
