Default 1989 Honda Accord AC

I live in Georgia and it has been quite hot the last week.

I was enjoying my AC to work and all was well.

I drove the car to lunch and the AC did not work.

I replaced the compressor 4-5 years ago and it is the original type as
there are two for this model.

It has plenty of R-134 and the compressor did not appear to be frozen
as the below is still on it.

I believe it is the switch that screws into the line with a two prong
plug into it.

Any thoughts before I do more on it?

If you're referring to the pressure switch, you can temporarily short it
out and see if the compressor engages, (clutch activates). If yes and
cold air blows out it may be the switch or the level of refrigerant
might be below the "low" threshold.

AC for the inexperienced is best left to the pros though...
