Just carried out a service on my sons 2002 1.6 Civic SE Sport and all went
well until we came to change the pollen filter. The box with the new one had 2 filters inside but on finding the filter in the drawer behind the glove compartment it looks like only one filter required. Did I gain an extra filter or have I missed one some where else. Also what a stupid place to put the oil filter, if you don't have a pit then it's an absolute bast**d to change and dribbles oil down the back of the engine. Thanks Bob |

One comes out from behind the glove box, and the second has a tab sticking out at the edge of that same hole. You slide it over and pull it out of the same hole. -- Clarence A Dold - Hidden Valley Lake, CA, USA GPS: 38.8,-122.5 |

Yes, that was right.
A closer look with a torch showed the tab to pull the second one out. From its condition I don't think its ever been changed, more than 50% of the folds in the paper filter were full and the rest were filthy. Thanks for the info.
