Default Check engine light one - Honda Accord '95

This has happened once in the past. It turned out to be the spark
plugs.

I do see some low transmission fluid when I checked it last.

What I want to know is which transmission fluid I need to add, and how
to add it.

Also, I've heard horror stories of honda accord's transmissions
blowing up. What can I do on a daily basis to prevent the transmission
from failing.

The mileage on the car is about 140000. I got it at 119000. The last
owner said the timing belt was changed. How frequently does it need
changed.

Any recommendations for parts for the Honda Accord ? A website or
something.

Any help will be appreciated !

Thanks,

awesomecarproblem

You need an Owner's Manual, or at least go to the online one. SEARCH for
that one. ENGINE light has very little to do with your tranny. YOur D4
light would be blinking if it was the tranny problems. Go somewhere and
get the codes read for free. Tell us the numbers. Meantime, fill the rad
and make sure the reservoir level is above =MIN=. Check gas cap too.
