It comes as no surprise, then, that this idiot keeps spamming the newsgroups with this crap. It also comes as no surprise that Audi is foisting yet another piece of shit onto the automotive world. Oh, it drives like nobody's business-when it's working. Audi--what Daimler was trying to get for themselves when they bought Chrysler. |

(Very different to a Golf - the B7 platform is a proper Audi with longitudinal engine and proper 4wd.) -- SteveH 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - Hongdou GY200 - Alfa 75 TSpark Alfa 156 TSpark - B6 Passat 2.0TDI SE - COSOC KOTL BOTAFOT #87 - BOTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC # |

B5 was the old platform of the old RS4 Avants, then there was the B6 which had no RS4, but introduced the V8 N/A S4. Then there was the B7 which introduced the new round grill (amongst other things of course) and the current RS4. |

I hadn't realised that the B6 facelift had been designated B7. -- SteveH 'You're not a real petrolhead unless you've owned an Alfa Romeo' www.italiancar.co.uk - Honda VFR800 - Hongdou GY200 - Alfa 75 TSpark Alfa 156 TSpark - B6 Passat 2.0TDI SE - COSOC KOTL BOTAFOT #87 - BOTAFOF #18 - MRO # - UKRMSBC #7 - Apostle #2 - YTC # |

Funnily enough, I'd have thought that the Audi reputation to exactly the opposite of what you're saying. They're ultra reliable but a relatively staid driving experience compared to say a Porsche, TVR or even a BMW. So the reviews usually say anyway. |
