They should market a hybrid diesel. Too bad we can't afford one.

Good riddance. An overly complex V-6 with 3 cylinder technology that
didn't work, and IMA as a power boost, instead of an economy improvement.

As if an Accord needs 250 horsepower. My 1996 Mustang GT didn't have that
much horsepower.

Honda Accord Hybrid: 1.4% of Accord sales.
Toyota Camry Hybrid: 14% of Camry sales.

Maybe Honda can put the leftover hybrid parts into a Fit or a CR-V, where
it might be appreciated.

I think it was an ill-conceived idea. The Accord appeals to practical
need and excellent fuel economy could have been a real selling point.
The hybrid biased toward performance could have a place but it is in a
car like a Civic Si which is more of a performance package rather than
a family car with high horsepower.

I hope Honda isn't soured on either concept (accord hybrid or
performance hybrid) and will recognize that they just got the formula
wrong this time.
