My 2002 Honda CRV with 87,000 miles just recently had the
airconditioning compressor replaced along with the filter and expansion valve by my local mechanic. Since then I noticed that the green square around the shifter indicator and the cruise control light slightly flicker when the car seems to be under load. This happens with the AC on or off. When I slow down to an idle, the light seems to stop flickering. The flickering is a slight change in brightness in a constant cyclical nature seeming as if the voltage regulator is unsure whether to charge or not. No other lights seem to show this. I looked at the dome light and it seems stable. The radio dial seems stable. The odometer seems stable. I do not get any battery indicator on the dash or any check engine light illumination. I am somewhat baffled as to where to look to begin to track this down. I don't want to be a parts changer but rather would like some suggestions as to where to look. I have the full tech manual for this car but did not find anything in the trouble shooting that references this kind of problem. Any advice will be very appreciated. |

HONDA often replaces it _all_ for free. SEARCH first, ask questions later: http://www.hondasuv.com Don't know about the flickering... Are you still using the factory stereo? 'Curly' |
