If it were, then every automatic transmission Honda ever built would have been afflicted. No, the incidences of auto trans failures from 98 through 04 were incredibly high, much much more so than can be explained by "oh, but suddenly come 1998, after years of automatic transmissions, nobody can figure out how to check the fluid levels". |
