Hello -

I had been considering an Element but now believe maybe a 4wd CR-V may
be in order. However, in researching the CR-V, a few alarming points
keep coming up :

1) Bad rear differentials on '07's. Seems like loads of trouble here.
Bad lube ? There was a recall (beginning of Feb ?). Is this problem
cleared up ?

2) Seems like a large number of engine oil leaks (on '07's) and appears
to be from the rear main seal. It sounds like the motor must be yanked
to repair. This is not good. Anybody know more on this ?

3) Tons of complaints regarding the warning light on the tire pressure
monitoring system (keeps coming on). Some people are taking their CR-V's
back 3 or 4 times trying to resolve.

Any input on any of these issues would be appreciated.
