record warranty from Honda of Turkey
Honda of Turkey increased the warranty to 6 years or 150.000 KMs on all Honda models sold in Turkey. This is valid for vehicles sold since Jan 1 2007. This is the highest warranty in Turkey offered by an auto company. Hyundai (and Kia) has been offering 5 years or 100.000KMs warranties for 2 years. All other companies are offering 3 years or 100.000KMs (Toyota, Mazda; Daihatsu), 2 years with unlimited KMS (Opel, VW, BMW, MB, and etc) or 2 years or 100.000 KMs (Ford) warranties. Unlimited KM warranties are no good for me since I do not drive more than 20.000 KMS per year. I was planning on getting a newly designed Corolla but I may end up buying a Civic which also I like.
