What? I put an "inches" symbol in there, so...

Honda-metric is verbal, not numerical. Such as:
"Clank" for "crank";
"Reak cover" for "leak cover".
(actual quotes from factory shop manual)

Nissan was worse. I once saw a set of floor mats with the label
"**** FLOOR MAT". They meant "Front Floor Mat" of course...

And hey, check out this site:
http://www.engrish.com/

These are quite serious Oriental attempts at English communication.

You will rapidly develop a sore tummy from laughing, so be warned...

i don't have feeler gauges for 0.127mm or 0.1778mm. my point is,
original spec is metric, so for anyone that has metric gauges [ME!!!],
they can be anal and set without fractional b.s.

jimbo, you're being silly here. Silly for the sake of
..0001 inch.

For more silliness, see
www.engrish.com

The Metric equivalents to the Imperial measurements I gave are:
Intake: 0.13-0.17mm
Exhaust: 0.15-0.19mm

Happy now? I am. It's Friday and I don't have to do anything work-like
until Monday.

But, but, but... .005-.007 would be decimal..

They're BOTH "decimal". Just one is Imperial and the other Metric.

I don't see anything I provided that was in binary, octal or
hexadecimal.
