Default 93 Honda Accord. Car Will not shift into Drive.

My car started fine at home this morning, I drove about 60 miles today,
stopped by a Starbucks got out and when i came back, the car will not
shift into Drive. That Car starts fine, only when i depress the thumb
thing to move it into drive, nothing. Its hard and will not
depress.What do i do!!!!!!!!!!!!

help!!!!!!

Brake light switch under the brake pedal. Look for it, and see if it is
disconnected, out of place or broken. Then fix it. It is there to
prevent you driving away when your brake lights are not working.

on the console next to your shifter is a slot, says shift lock or
something to that effect. Stick another key down in there to press a
lever and that will allow you to unlock your shifter. Mines been doing
that forever, I consider it my 'gehtto antitheft'
