Does anyone know how I can get a diagnostic code and how to interepret
it on a 1999 Shuttle/Oddysee ?

That's the point. The OP does not know how to get the code.

He appears to be in the Netherlands, so his diag system is likely different
from ours. Do you know how to retrieve an error code from a
non EPA-compliant OBD system? Neither do I.

Nope. I figured (and I guess incorrectly) that by 99 Honda was using the
system in their entire line for consistency, hence the reference to getting
the reader.
