I've got a 2000 Civic. At high RPMs (just prior to shifting or highway
speeds) it misfires...sometimes a little and sometimes alot. OBD codes show misfires in each cylinder. (Not alot of helpful info!) I replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and PCV valve. It still misses and the OBD light is back on. I'm thinking that maybe the ignition module is faulty. Any other ideas out there?? THanks!!! --Jeff |

I'm guessing you might also have a "catalyst below efficiency threshold' code too. What's the mileage and when did you last run a bottle of injector cleaner (or gasohol) through it? 'Curly' |

Oops!! Too late! Used my OBD2 scanner and cleared them. But it was
misfire codes, not catalytic converter codes. Not a bad idea on the injector cleaner. But I'm still thinking its ignition, not fuel. The Civic has 70K miles. --Jeff motsco_ wrote: > jbxnyr@gmail.com wrote: > > I've got a 2000 Civic. And neither does anybody else at this point. Clearing the codes was not a bright idea. Wait 'til they come back, read and record them, then report back here. ***BE PRECISE***.
