Uh, what is being discussed is the fact tha engine oil formulation has been changed making the recommendations in old vehicle operator's manuals obsolete thus you proceed at your own risk. Fortunately, since engine oils were originally recommended, modern synthetics are the best candidate for extended tranny life. It's that simple... JT |
