Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has come across a similar problem with their
odyssey. I have a 99 LX which has 200,000kms and it's been great...
For the last month or so, I've noticed that my front end seems to be
rattling. I check my ball joints, tie rods, control arm bushings and
stabilizer bar and all bushing seem to be fine (no play). My struts
seem to be fine as far as going over bumps but there's something
loose... I'm wondering if it's my bump stop or one of the other rubber
bushings on top of the strut. Any Ideas would be appreciatied. Rob

it might be your hub caps if your car has them ..
to check just give em a tap with your foot see if its amkes the same
sounds you hear .

There may be some large bolts that hold part of front the suspension on
to the unibody. They point upward. My wife's CR-V was rattling and I
found a couple of them were loose.

I have a 2004 odyssey with a front end rattle and the dealer replaced
struts twice and it still rattles did you ever find the cause?

Maybe you should ask for your money back TWICE?

look at these TSB's

and you may want to look into a 'sway bar kit' from NAPA, which is DIY
and about 1/3rd the price Honda wants for the parts. (mile was a '95 but
probably similar to yours)
