I have been thinking about using Redline Watter Wetter in my 1994 Civic
DX. I saw some debate about this with mostly positive reviews but some negatives and no definitive answers. I would be using it with a 50/50 solution of water/antifreeze. Mike |

I would be using it with a 50/50 > solution of water/antifreeze. > > Mike > are you having cooling problems? if so, you're best addressing them properly. if you're not having problems, and you're not racing [and i mean hard-on racing, not leaving rubber on your friends driveway], you don't need it. when i go full throttle up grapevine at 105F outside temp on a stock radiator, the gauge stays rock steady, so i don't need it. yes, chemicals like this can offer small differences in coolant behavior, but i seriously doubt you'll need or notice any difference. you won't see the temp needle go down because that's controlled by the thermostat. |
