i use whatever quarts i find cheapest at autozone, but i change the
fluid every 3 years, religiously.

filters? $2 walmart super techs.

cap wrenches suck. they wont fit every possible filter id use, most of
the time. i gave up on em and got the wrench that looks like pliers.

Sometimes you have to use a cap wrench because nothing else fits.

I change my brake fluid one per year every year, so I don't give much of a
shit what goes in there.

I was using one of those pliers, but it was a hassle getting to the filter.
The end cap was only a coupla bucks (less than the cost of a filter), so it
was worth it for me (fewer headaches - aspirin costs money, too :þ ).
