Honda Car Forum

Anyone have any idea? I've found some vague instructions here, but
couldnt manage to take it off. Any help would be appreciated.

Try the exploded views at www.slhondaparts.com to see all the fasteners.

Remove them.

Did you remove the two nuts that are accessible when you open the hood?
They're immediately below the headlights.

Support the bumper so it doesn't fall off on you. And don't forget to
unclip the windshieldwasher hose!

How far have you got?

Is this similar on most Hondas?
I just found out that I'll have to pull the bumper to work on my horn.
94 Civic VX.

Sometimes you can get at the horns just by removing the plastic splash
shields under the car on either side, just behind the bumper.

Unfortunately, your car is a bit more complex than most Hondas. You need to
remove the bumper in several stages. None of them are complex or require
special tools, it's just kind of fiddly. I can post a PDF of the removal
process if you wish.
