I don't know about in the U.S., but I also remember the LXi and EXi here i
Canada. The 'i' in these model designations indicates fuel injection
its an 86" let me think way back for a moment". back then in canada they still used the old carburetor on there. witch could be a problem in its present state because of the age" i mean. it could be the chock not be working right. thats one posibility i would try using a "carb cleaner spray" and spray it down the carburetor with the engine running at fast idle. to clean any carbon in there and see if that helps in any way? say with the engine fully warmed up is there any hesitation at all when your accellerating? also its a good idea to check your basic items like: vacuum hoses for any cracks, spark plug wires, spark plugs, cap&roter, air filter, & i would change the fuell filter
