2002 Honda Accord, 50kmiles. The escape tube is slightly black (it was
black since 20kmiles when i bought the car). Apparently there is no noticable consuming of oil. What might be a reason? I saw other Honda's and some of them have completely clean tube, some other have a small deposit of carbon (even they looks like almost new). kara |

Maybe you're allowing your car to warm up in the driveway (don't do it). Maybe you live too close to where you work. Maybe you have a tune-up problem. What's your actual fuel mileage / gallon? Usually i am driving in the town and the engine is frequently stopped/started, it must be a reason. The fuel millage in the city is soemthing like 300miles/13 gallons=23 miles per gallon (and it is higher on highway). Is it normal for accord (4 cyl.) ? |
