My speedometer is dead. I was backing out of a parking space and heard
a thump, but didn't think much of it. Several minutes later, while cruising on the freeway, the speedometer dropped to zero and never revived. Questions: 1) Isn't 1992 Prelude on electronic VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor), monitoring the transmission? If so, I shouldn't expect any sheared mechanical gears, correct? 2) This VSS looks quite hidden. How easy is the replacement? 3) Other than VSS, what other components should I consider? Thanks. |
