Greetings...
My 99 Oddy's gearshift is stuck in park and the brake lights are dead. The 20 amp fuse under the hood blows the instant you stop on the pedal and you hear the click that releases the gearshift. I can release the shifter with a key in the steering column but driving around without brake lights is never a good idea. My question is has anyone had this problem? If so what fixed it? I've checked the brake light sockets and wires for water (we've had a lot of rain lately) but everything seems fine. Google search was less than helpful. |
