Hi
My Honda Accord 1999/112k Miles, check engine line came on. Diagnostics shows error code 740. I took it to aamco and they changed one of the solenoid's but after few hundred mile the same error code is back(740). does any one has idea what needs to be done. Any suggestions?? |

If they put any tranny fluid in it, book it into a Honda dealer and get them to do a drain-n-fill with Honda fluid (or do it yourself, twice) Code might go away and stay away with a change of the correct fluid. Does it shift HARDER than before, by chance? Take a look at some of the tranny TSB's at tegger.com for insight to some problems that your model has had . . . There might have been a warranty on it, (until AAMCO got involved) for all we know. 'Curly' |
