Car: 1991 Honda Accord Wagon
Problem: When I try to get the winshield wiper fluid nothing comes out. Howeve I can hear the mother come on. The read one works well. I also noticed that when I try to fill the wiper fluids just before it fills up it starts leaking and starts pouring on the ground. Can anyone tell me what is the problem and how I can remedy this. Thanks in advance. Dave P.s. I already used a pin to poke holes on the fluid outlets on the wood. |

If fluid is dumping on the ground it is obvious the case is split. Pull the
hose off the motor and see if it pumps fluid. Check hoses for blockage or cracks. If any of this isn't obvious to you take it to a mechanic. Did you have it filled with water and let it freeze? Howeve I can hear the mother come on. You mean "motor"? > The read one works well. You mean "rear"? Doesn't a single fluid bottle supply both front and rear? Are you're not just seeing the existing fluid in the tubes when you operate the rear washer? Does it run out if you keep squirting? > I > also noticed that when I try to fill the wiper fluids just before it > fills up it starts leaking and starts pouring on the ground. How much pours on the ground? The whole thing? > > Can anyone tell me what is the problem and how I can remedy this. Have you ever used plain water in the washer fluid bottle? If so, it may have frozen and split the bottle. What can also happen is the rubber grommets can shrink and leak which seal the motors to the bottle. Reapiaring either involves removing the front bumper (easy). After that it will be eay to fix with either a replacement bottle from the wreckers or some aquarium-grade silicone rubber. > > > P.s.
