Default Heater Fan Problem 1995 Honda Civic EX 4 Dr

Recently my heater fan has been acting up. If it comes on when the car is
started it will work until the car is turned off. However, if does not
work when the car is started, it probably will not come on and turning the
engine off and restarting won't help. The A/C and heat are working, if the
vents are in outside air mode you can feel a little heat coming in with
the heater on and a little cool air with the A/C on. Can anyone help me
with what this problem might be? Could this be a belt? I had a heater hose
leak a few months back and the repairman broke part of the heater diverter
off taking the hose off of it so a fragment may have gone into the heater.
Thanks.

-------------------------

Start by filling your rad to the TOP, and your reservoir to the MAX
mark. Check it again the next day. Top up, report back. There may just
be some air in the system. Use only Honda premix. Tap water is called
Hondacide. Heater fan is on the bottom under your dash. Try giving it a
smack to see if it will start. Check if connector is on straight /
tight.

Find a better mechanic too.:-)
