Default '95 Accord no spedometer...

'95 Accord, 2.2, two door. Spedometer works intermittently. Spoke
with Honda and apparently it's an electronic sensor that runs
CDN$142.23. Where is the sensor located (bell housing or somewhere
nearby I'd guess) and is it something that can be cleaned and/or
replaced easily?

TIA!
Darryl.

Located on the transaxle.

Can be checked by lifting the front end, hand spinning a wheel while
checking for voltage ouput at the sensor. cleaning will not have an
impact. Can be replaced by removing and putting in a new one.

I had same problem, bought a gps with a windshield mount for cheaper than
parts & labour. Car is sold now. I still have the gps:-)
