Default legroom in accord ex-v6 versus acura tl

Another new car shopping question!

I'm still leaning towards a 2006 Acura TL or a 2006 Honda Accord LX V6
or EX V6.

In the specifications for the car dimensions, the numbers are pretty
similar.

However, I noticed that Acura TL has these specs (figures in inches):

Legroom: 42.8 front / 34.9 rear

Accord has:

Legroom: 42.6 front / 36.8 rear

The front difference seems negligible (0.2 inches). But the rear
legroom is bigger...almost 2 full inches.

Is 2 inches a significant difference in terms of leg room? Or is this
figure close enough to not be worried about it in terms of rear
passenger comfort?

A couple of other differences I noticed were:

Acura TL:
Hip room in front: 55.6

Accord Sedan:
Hip room in front: 54.6

and

Acura TL
Shoulder room in front 58.3

Accord Secdan:
Shoulder room in front 56.9

It appears that the Acura has a bit more hip room and shoulder room
for the front passenger than the Accord but that the Accord has more
legroom for the rear passengers.

How much of a difference are these numbers? Are 1 inch in hip room
and 1.4 inches in shoulder room basically equivalent and thus
negligible?

Just wanted to make sure any rear seat passengers would also be able
to be comfy.

From what I see of the numbers in dimensions, the Accord Sedan and
Acura TL are pretty much close unless the above numbers are different
enough to effect comfort level.

Any comments?

Thanks!
Drew

The shape of the seat cushion is what's going on here. A longer bottom
cushion may give more support and be more comfy. But end up providing
less legroom. Sit in the cars !! Fly by the seat of your pants, not
the numbers, which are very close.

this is the case of "where the butt meets the seat" - what works for
one does not work for another - try it.

For $10,000 difference, it was not a difficult decision to me. I went with
Accord EX-V6.

Some other extra on TL you may want to consider...
TL has bluetooth option,
TL's audio system is way better than Accord IMO
TL seems to mute pot hole noise better
TL does feel "wider" especially sitting at front

No matter which one you choose, you will not feel sorry after driving it.
