I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM TOO, EXCEPT I HAVE A 88 ACCORD NO DASH LIGHTS OR PARKING LIGHTS AT ALL, BRAKE LIGHTS, TURN SIGNAL, AND REVERSE LIGHTS ALL WORK. FIRST I CHANGED THE FUSE, HOWEVER AS SOON AS I TURN ON MY HEADLIGHTS IT BLOWS I TOO HAVE AN AFTER MARKET CD PLAYER, I THINK THERE WAS 2 OR THREE WIRES THAT I CUT OFF, NO WHERE TO PUT THEM. EXCEPT I DO NOT KNOW WHICH WIRE IS FOR THE MEMORY. You obviously have a short circuit somewhere. I would concentrate my
search to items that have been added to that circuit... like this "aftermarket player" you speak of. Seems a likely suspect. Professor www.telstar-electronics.com |
