Hello all,
I have '99 Honda Accord. The brake lights went out on it and I was told that the solenoid needed to be replaced. It is a solenoid that is located near the gear shifter where the console is, therefore I am assuming that it is called a shift solenoid. Someone took the old solenoid out and rigged it so that I could still drive it (without brake lights) and now I want to put the new part back. Any ideas as to how? I have already opened up the console, and know where to plug in the wires, but there's the part with the spring that I am unsure about. Any help is appreciated. |
