Honda Civic 2003. I do not understand how I can change the failed bulb.
Tried gently prising the light but it does not want to release.

Is there a special way to open it?

Do you mean the ceiling light? That lens does indeed prise off with a small
screwdriver. The clips are on the left and right edges of the lens.
