Default Electrical problems with 1993 Civic EX

Anybody out there have any suggestions? 93 Honda Civic speedometer and dash
lights will not function. Tach temperature and fuel gages operate fine. I
have replaced the speedometer head, but this did not help. Fuses are all
ok.Are there any controls or sensors in this circuit that I should check?

Perhaps see if you're missing a ground. I don't have my schematic in
front of me, but suspect the speedo and lights have one ground in
common.
Try bridging (using a clip lead) ground from a known good ground to
points that should be grounded in your dash (like most metal brackets).

remove cluster, check for dirty/loose connections.
