Default what's new with 2005 Accord Hybrid?

The local dealer is offering one 2005 Accord Hybrid under invoice which is
very tempting. he also said that 2006 will not be available for a few
months and it will be sold at MSRP, at his wish I guess. Am I missing
something here? Accord hybrid never sold at retail price unless he knows
some kind of major improvement is coming...

What's new with the 2006 model besides cosmetic?
I read something about the front grill and tail light. Nothing about the
performance part.

Search for Forbes preview to get the 2006 info. According to Edmunds there
is a $1200 Honda to dealer incentive in Raleigh area and we got a $2950
discount though there was a typical $400 documentation fee. New for 2006 is
a mini spare instead of repair kit, sun roof, stability control, daylight
running lights. I am not sure if the engine will have the 15 extra horses.
Check the 2006 accord literature at the dealer. No way to know what the new
price will be. Might depend on price of gas.

you're thinking Civic. It's all-new.

The Accord is not. It's the same car.

Actually most places sold the hybrid at or ABOVE MSRP. espically during the
gas "crisis" when gas was over 3 bucks a gal. I was looking for a Jetta TDI
around the same time, and the same thing with those, selling at or above
MSRP, simply because they can, supply and demand. the reason the 05 is
cheaper, is they most likely want to move it, plus the incentives being
offered, and also possible tax advantages to hybrid cars.

Except for Toyota Prius and maybe new Civic, I don't see any other brand
name or model are asking for MSRP in my area. Not for Toyota Highlander or
Honda Accord.

Almost all dealers are out of 2005 Accord Hybrid at this moment and 2006 is
still a few months away, I don't think that dealers have any pressure to
clear out 2005 right now. My guess is either the 2005 Accord does not get
good enough MPG and the 2006 will be much more attractive to buyer...

Tax advantage is, at least looks like, giving to the consumers not the
dealer or manufactures. Since people think they can get tax incentive plus
gas is going up again, they are rushing to buy hybrid and therefore
dealer/manufacture can ask for higher selling price...
