The single notch is TDC. It's white on most or all Hondas.
The three notches close together are "Before TDC." They're red on most or all Hondas. For a drawing and description, see http://media.honda.co.uk/car/owner/m...ls/AccordManua l/400/5-24.pdf For setting the timing, you want to align the fixed pointer with the center red notch. Note that the site above is for a 91-93 Accord. I am pretty sureb the timing marks are lining up with the fly wheel
mark and the cam mark is lineing up, I think now the problem is that the belt on the balance shaft are not alined with the pully.big job to get back to that |
