Hi,
Had an autostart brand remote car starter installed by my local Honda dealer in Dec 2004. It always fails to start when the outside temperature is around -15C or below. That's cold but not freezing by no means, as it often gets -25C to -30C here on winter nights. Bypass seems to be the problem, as the car cranks three times for 5 seconds before giving up. When I use the key, the car will start within 2 or 3 seconds. Works fine when above -15C, but I want a car starter that works in the winter, not in the summer. I've brought it into the dealer now a total of 6 times, including just a few days ago when a newer version of the bypass was installed. Now it's actually worse. Anyone have a similar experience with an autostart brand remote car starter? From the remote it looks like the "AS-2000 SH" model. Thanks. |
